Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section.
