Large Hailstones and Widespread Destruction
Locals reported giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in some areas. Weather authorities announced that different parts across the state had been impacted by large hailstones.

Emergency crews were focused on reestablishing power throughout the affected regions, with approximately seventy teams activated to handle the widespread outages.
Southern State's Storm Challenges
Simultaneously, nearly one thousand households in Victoria also faced electricity disruptions after the capital city saw its most precipitation in 18 months.
Emergency response teams responded to nearly 600 requests for assistance across the state, mainly for structural issues but also for downed trees and inundation.

Weather Forecast
Damp conditions were forecast to persist along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
Tuesday was forecast to be the wettest day, with ongoing storm activity predicted across different parts of both regions.

Health officials cautioned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the current weather patterns.
